Scenic Highway 1
Spent the day driving down the coast on Route 1. A scenic hilly twisty driving route. Full of places to pull over and take pictures. A nice fun drive for an hour. A complete maddening pain in the ass drive for the remaining 3 hours. After an hour of constant switchback roads and 15 mph curves – with people tailgating you ‘cause they’re in a hurry.. the road lost its charm. The section I was on had no connector routes – so I was stuck on it for a while. I did take some nice pics however. Next time I just have to remember to stick to the shorter parts of the road.
